# Connect the picture. Keep control.

PostCliq is a free website audit that works from your public pages alone and integrates, read-only, with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and Microsoft Clarity. Connecting a source is optional: it puts what visitors actually did next to what the audit found on the page. This page lists every source, what it adds, and what it never does.

**3 priorities**

A clearer next step.

PostCliq example · Find → Understand → Act

## Google Analytics 4: which visits become enquiries.

Connect a GA4 property and the report shows sessions, key events and the rate between them, by landing page. That is how you find the service page that attracts traffic but produces few enquiries, and put it next to the finding that explains why. PostCliq imports aggregates only: never individual visitor records, lead names or form messages.

- Sessions, enquiries and enquiry rate by landing page
- Available history imported on connection, kept while your account is active
- Read-only scope; you choose the property

Example data

**Google Analytics** Example data

Sessions **12,480**

Enquiries **187**

Enquiry rate **1.50%**

12 months example · choose a window Period

Consulting attracts attention. Its enquiry rate needs a closer look.

| Landing page | Sessions | Enquiries | Rate |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| /services | 4,200 | 84 | 2.00% |
| /consulting | 2,800 | 28 | 1.00% |
| /contact | 1,650 | 66 | 4.00% |

What should we investigate?

Open the source, confirm the date range and segment, then use the signal to choose a page-level check. This example is illustrative and is not an attribution claim.

## Google Search Console: the pages losing attention.

Search Console adds clicks, impressions and click-through rate by page and query, with up to sixteen months of history. The report shows which search pages are growing and which are slipping, so a decline can be checked against a content or technical finding instead of guessed at.

- Clicks, impressions and CTR by page
- Up to sixteen months of history
- Declines shown as signals to investigate, never as proof of a website-caused loss

Example data

**Google Search Console** Example data

Clicks **3,840**

Impressions **96,000**

Search CTR **4.00%**

Consulting clicks are down. Check query intent before rewriting the page.

| Search page | Clicks | Change | CTR |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| /services | 1,620 | +14% | 5.4% |
| /consulting | 720 | −22% | 2.1% |
| /insights | 540 | −9% | 3.6% |

What should we investigate?

Open the source, confirm the date range and segment, then use the signal to choose a page-level check. This example is illustrative and is not an attribution claim.

## Microsoft Clarity: where the journey gets stuck.

Clarity adds behaviour signals: dead clicks on things that look clickable, rage clicks, quick backs, scroll depth and active time. A click pattern is a clue, not proof, so the report uses it to point you at the element to inspect and the recording to watch in Clarity itself, with your own access.

- Dead clicks, rage clicks, quick backs, scroll depth
- Signals mapped to the page and element to inspect
- Recordings stay in Clarity, under your own permissions

Example data

**Microsoft Clarity** Example data

Sessions **4,848**

Scroll depth **46.58%**

Active time **1.7 min**

Share of sessions · scale 0–20% · example data

Dead clicks are the strongest signal in this example. Inspect the clicked element.

| Behaviour | Sessions | Share | Next step |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Dead clicks | 843 | 17.39% | Inspect target |
| Rage clicks | 53 | 1.09% | Review context |
| Quick backs | 299 | 6.17% | Check intent |

What should we investigate?

Open the source, confirm the date range and segment, then use the signal to choose a page-level check. This example is illustrative and is not an attribution claim.

## What you control, on every connection.

Signing in with Google connects nothing. Connecting is a separate step where you pick the exact property, and PostCliq asks for read-only permissions only. Disconnecting stops new imports and deletes the access token straight away; deleting the saved history is a separate choice, so you are never surprised by lost trend data. If you connect a client property, you confirm the client has authorised it.

- Read-only permissions, requested per property
- Disconnect and delete history are two separate controls
- Tokens encrypted, never shown in the browser, logs or AI prompts

## How it works. Three steps.

### Enter your website.

Type your address on the homepage. PostCliq reads your public pages the way a careful visitor would. No login, no plugin, no card.

### Get your private report.

Create a free account while the checks run. Your report shows what was found, the evidence for it and three quick wins to make first.

### Fix, then recheck.

Make the change, run the next weekly audit and see whether it held. Connect Analytics, Search Console or Clarity when you want traffic context.

## You decide.

What is Google Analytics 4, and why connect it?

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is Google’s free analytics platform, which records visits and the actions you mark as key events, such as an enquiry. Connected to PostCliq, it shows sessions, enquiries and enquiry rate by landing page beside the audit findings for the same page. That turns a list of issues into a list ranked by the traffic each one affects.

Does Microsoft Clarity work alongside GA4?

Yes. They answer different questions: GA4 counts visits and enquiries, Clarity shows behaviour on the page, such as dead clicks, rage clicks and scroll depth. PostCliq reads both, read-only, and sets them beside the same finding, so a page with low enquiries and heavy rage clicks on its form reads as one problem.

Which of these are available now?

Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Microsoft Clarity and Google Ads connect today, read-only, from your site’s Connections page. You can add your own business numbers to a report now.

Can I disconnect?

Yes, at any time, in PostCliq or in the provider’s own account settings. Disconnecting stops future imports and deletes the access token. Deleting saved history is a separate control, so a disconnect never silently destroys your trend data.

Does signing in with Google connect my Analytics?

No. Google sign-in is identity only. Connecting a property is a separate, explicit step where you choose which one, and it asks for read-only scope.

What do you import, exactly?

Aggregates by page, date and channel: sessions, key events, clicks, impressions and behaviour signals. Never individual visitor records, lead names, form messages or user lists.

How does Microsoft Clarity connect? Do I sign in with Microsoft?

No Microsoft sign-in is involved. A Clarity project administrator generates an API token in the Clarity project settings and pastes it into PostCliq. PostCliq then imports aggregate behaviour signals for that project within Clarity’s export limits. Your session recordings stay in Clarity under your own access; PostCliq never imports or asks for them.

Does PostCliq read my Google Ads account?

Yes, if you connect it. PostCliq reads spend, clicks and reported conversions by landing page, read-only, and shows them beside the audit of each page, so you can see which paid landing pages have problems. The audit also reads the pages your ads send people to. It never edits a campaign, and ad spend is never turned into a lost-revenue figure.
