# The one page website fix brief.

Eight headings that get a change scheduled rather than queried. The whole template is below. Take the editable file if it is easier.

## What you’ll take away.

- Name the page and the intended visitor task.
- Attach the observation and when it was captured.
- Explain the consequence as a hypothesis.

## How to use it

Fill in every heading. If you cannot fill one in, that is the thing to resolve before you send it, not after.

One brief describes one change that could be released on its own. If you have found six problems, send six briefs, ordered, rather than one document with six things in it. A list becomes a project, and a project becomes a quote, and a quote becomes a meeting. Individual items get picked off.

Attach evidence. A screenshot or a fifteen second screen recording removes more back and forth than any amount of description.

## Take the editable file

The whole template, eight headings with a worked example under each, plus what to leave out and how to define done.

- Eight headings, one page, with a worked example under each
- No PostCliq branding inside the document beyond a small footer wordmark
- Word and Markdown, so it pastes into whatever your team uses

It opens on the next screen. Nothing to download, nothing to wait for.
