What we saw.
A page, a captured signal and a date. Every finding needs evidence.
PostCliq is a free website audit for post-click optimisation: improving what happens after a visitor clicks through to your site. It is built on one rule: every claim in a report must point at evidence you can inspect, and every number must show how it was made. This page is the method, written so a sceptical head of marketing can check it.
Audit your websiteA page, a captured signal and a date. Every finding needs evidence.
AI helps interpret patterns. It does not turn a judgement into a measured fact.
A specific next step, followed by a test to see whether the change helped.
PostCliq publishes a finding only when all four parts exist. The evidence names the page and what was observed, with a screenshot or an excerpt and the date. The consequence says why it matters for enquiries, in plain language. The action is specific enough to hand to a developer or a writer. The verification says how to confirm the change worked on the next audit. Anything the AI model suspects but cannot evidence is filed as a question to verify, not as a finding.
Every finding carries all four. No evidence, no finding.
Seven categories are scored: enquiry journey, speed, content clarity, search visibility, accessibility, technical trust and AI readiness. Each check that could run contributes to its category; each category is weighted, with the enquiry journey weighted most. A category with less than sixty per cent of its checks assessed shows not assessed instead of a number, and the overall score appears only when enough categories are assessed. A high score does not certify security or compliance. A sampled audit is not a whole-site certification.
A check that could not run is reported as not assessed, never as a pass.
AUD 10k–20k
| Monthly sessions | 10,000 |
|---|---|
| Lead rate | 2% |
| Illustrative target | 2.2–2.4% |
| Qualification | 40% |
| Qualified win rate | 25% |
| Initial contract value | AUD 5,000 |
20–40 extra leads × 40% × 25% × AUD 5,000. This models steady-state new-contract value, not cash received in the same month.
The opportunity range multiplies eligible traffic by the gap between the current enquiry rate and an illustrative target, then by qualification, win rate and deal value. Traffic comes from a third-party estimate or your Analytics; the enquiry rate from a governed benchmark or your own figure; the deal value from a sector default or your number. If the sourced inputs do not exist, no range is shown. Overlapping findings never become three separate opportunities, and a score never becomes a money multiplier.
| Assumption | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly sessions | 10,000 | Traffic estimate |
| Enquiry rate today | 2.0% | Governed benchmark |
| Target enquiry rate | 2.2 to 2.4% | Illustrative lift |
| Qualified | 40% | Sector default |
| Won | 25% | Sector default |
| First contract | $5k | Sector default |
Replace any row with your own numbers and the range recomputes. It is never measured lost revenue.
The range is illustrative, not measured loss. Public-only monetary estimates require a sourced traffic estimate and an approved benchmark. If evidence is missing, we show the findings instead.
Scores do not become money multipliers. Overlapping findings do not become three separate revenue opportunities.
A sampled check is not a complete site certification. Unknown data does not count as a pass. A technical score does not certify security.
The half of marketing most budgets ignore: everything after the ad or the search result.

No licensed benchmark exists for Australian business-to-business conversion rates. Rather than quote a figure that does not measure what PostCliq measures, benchmarks are built from audits whose owners have switched contribution on, pooled in groups of at least thirty independent businesses, reviewed for re-identification risk before publication, and never shown with a name, a domain or a single business’s figures. Contribution is off by default and free to switch off again.

Mark a fix, recheck the same scope, and the history shows whether it held.
Post-click optimisation is improving everything that happens after someone clicks an ad, a search result or a link to your site: the page they land on, how fast it loads, whether it answers their question, and how easy the next step is. Most marketing budgets go on winning the click. Post-click work makes each of those clicks more likely to become an enquiry.
It is the same discipline seen from the marketer’s side. Conversion rate optimisation names the metric; post-click names the moment, and keeps the campaign that sent the visitor in view, so message match between the ad and the page is part of the job. The PostCliq report is a post-click audit: it ranks what it finds by the effect on enquiries.
It is an estimate, and it says so. The opportunity range is modelled from a sourced traffic estimate, a governed benchmark and a default deal value, or from numbers you enter. It is never measured lost revenue, and it only appears when those inputs exist. The help icon beside it lists every assumption.
From consenting PostCliq customers, pooled in groups of at least thirty independent businesses, and from nowhere else. We reviewed the public and commercial conversion datasets and none met our tests for an Australian business-to-business definition and a licence to republish, so we do not quote them. Until a benchmark cell exists for your sector, the opportunity range comes from your own numbers or from your connected Google Analytics, and the report says which.
A finding has all four parts: captured evidence from your page, a consequence for enquiries, a specific action and a way to verify it. A question to verify is something the AI model suspected or a check could not confirm, such as an action that only appears once scripts run. Questions are shown separately, never scored and never counted as open problems.
Because fewer than sixty per cent of its checks could run on the pages we reached. That happens when a site blocks the crawler, pages time out, or a check needs a connection you have not made. A missing number is more honest than a guessed one.
Models classify pages, find candidate problems and draft explanations. Code then checks every candidate against captured evidence; anything without evidence is downgraded to a question to verify. Prices, rates and scores are never produced by a model, and page content is treated as data, never as instructions.
