Five prompts for a clearer website review

Use AI to ask better questions while keeping evidence in charge.

What you’ll take away.

  1. Using only the supplied headline and offer, describe the expected audience. Mark uncertainty explicitly.
  2. Compare the supplied ad promise with the supplied landing-page copy. Quote any mismatch and propose a test.
  3. Review these form fields. Explain which may be deferred; do not invent a conversion uplift.

How to use these

Paste one prompt at a time. Replace the bracketed parts with your own material, and supply only what the prompt asks for. If you paste your whole website in and ask what is wrong with it, you will get a page of generic advice that would be true of any website, which is worse than nothing because it sounds specific.

Do not paste customer data, anything from your CRM, or anything covered by a client confidentiality agreement. Your own public page copy and your own advertisement copy are fine.

Treat every answer as a hypothesis with a question attached. The value is in the questions the assistant asks you, and in the mismatches it quotes back, not in its recommendations.

All five prompts in full, ready to copy, with the line in each one that stops an assistant inventing the number you were going to act on.

  • Five prompts, each naming exactly what to supply
  • The sentence in each that forbids an invented uplift figure
  • What to do with the answer, and what to delete from it
  • The fifth prompt, which argues against your own recommendations
