GA4 leak finder: five explorations

GA4 knows which pages lose people. It just does not show you unless you build the view. These are the five views, click by click.

What is inside

  • Exploration 1: landing pages with visits and no key events.
  • Exploration 2: form starts that never become form sends.
  • Exploration 3: where mobile falls behind desktop, page by page.
  • Exploration 4: which channel sends visitors who leave in one page.
  • Exploration 5: the path from your busiest page to the enquiry page, and where it breaks.

Who it is for

  • Marketing managers who open GA4, see the home report, and close it again.
  • Anyone who has been asked "why are leads down when traffic is up".
  • Agencies building a monthly review that says something.

Before you start

You need a GA4 property with at least one key event marked, ideally the enquiry form send, a phone tap or a booking. If nothing is marked as a key event, do that first: Admin, then Events, then toggle the event on. Everything below reads the last 90 days. Sessions and key events are counts of different things; the explorations put them side by side but never divide one by the other for you, and neither should you until you know both are measured on the same pages.
